Matthew Horton
HCI Research Assistant in the Department of Computing at the University of Central Lancashire. I have recently enrolled on a part-time MPhil/PhD.
As well as being an active researcher within the group I am also in charge of the ChiCI website and messageboard. I can be contacted from here of through my own homepage.
My Research Interests
My interests are in HCI, participatory design and user centred design with children. I have done a lot of work with digital tools in the primary classroom such as digital pens, tablet PCs and PDAs.
Outside the ChiCI group my interests include web design and e-commerce. I am aslo looking in to aids and hinderances to student learning within the Department of Computing.
