Emanuela Mazzone
I am a Research Assistant in the Department of Computing at the University of Central Lancashire.
I achieved my Laurea Degree in Communication Sciences at the University of Siena on the area of Human-Machine Interaction and a post-graduate Master in Design for Collective Environments within the Siena Design Project ’03 (www.saul.unisi.it/cdesign/event/index.php).
In that period I worked as a junior researcher in Department of Communication Science at the University of Siena (www.disco.unisi.it), and thereafter as an HCI consultant in a web design company (www.iconmedialab.it)
My Research Interests
I am interested in emerging applications of ambient intelligent devices for supporting social activities in sensitive environments, especially for art and culture fruition.
My current work is focussed on uses of mobile devices in ubiquitous computing environments to enhance learning activities, supporting the collaborative aspect in particular.
