Akiyo is undertaking a Phd in Dyslexia and Computing
This research project focuses on dyslexic users and issues that surround them. This project is still at its infant stage (the project was started January 2006), but it is an extension of Akiyo’s MSc project, which investigated the effects of trigger words on dyslexic participants during text input method evaluations. She is looking to further investigate other factors which may affect an dyslexic’s ability to use technology.
